Homecoming has been a long tradition for La Follette High School. Each year we try to make Homecoming a fun event for students, staff and the community. Homecoming gets its name because it is a time when many former LHS alumni come back to their home school. It is important to understand that La Follette is part of a bigger community. When you are at the pep rally, activities night, football game, and dance, you see this bigger community. You are the current representatives of the school and we want this year’s Homecoming to be one that makes us all proud.
The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 12th, from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. in the LHS spec gym. The theme is “Mardi Gras”. The song is Lay me Down by Sam Smith. The colors are Green, Gold and Purple. Students must have their school identification card to be admitted. No admittance after 9:00 PM. School dress codes and rules apply. Court will be announced at 9:30.
