A Message from Principal Sean Storch

Dear Lancer Families,

We are excited to begin the last quarter of our school year, and we plan to finish strong! As you know, we are focused on the work of our School Improvement Plan so that we can see the best results for all of our students - and we have a lot to celebrate.

As a district, we are committed to regularly and openly reporting on our progress. You can see the district's mid-year review of progress at this link.

At La Follette, we conduct a similar review of progress on our School Improvement Plan. The review process helps us reflect on what we have done, and how it has impacted student learning and growth, so that we can make adjustments to our practices.

As a team, we ask ourselves whether we completed the work we planned for this quarter, and we analyze student data and plan our next steps. We also look specifically at our goals and strategies targeted to specific student groups in our School Improvement Plan.

I'd like to share with you what we learned: Read on . . .

Sincerely,

Sean Storch, Principal

MSG 2 TEENS - LA FOLLETTE TAKES 5TH PLACE

Congratulations to Mekhi Johnson, Katie Feller, and Julian Patton, who took 5th place in Fox 47's MSG 2 TEENS contest! They created a PSA about the dangers of drinking and driving which is currently being aired on Fox 47. These awesome Lancers were awarded prize packages from the program sponsors here at LHS on Monday and were featured on the evening news. Nice work Lancers!
KEY CLUB THANKS KIWANIS

Key Club would like to thank Madison East Kiwanis for their generous donation to our food pantry, Key Harvest. They donated an overflowing box of much needed items, in addition to helping provide shelving and other food in the past. A great partnership!

BOOSTER CLUB CELEBRATED LA FOLLETTE STAFF AT LUNCHEON

The All-School Booster Club showed their appreciation to La Follette staff at a very special luncheon on Tuesday, March 28. The Boosters provided a catered potato bar, decorations, and many side dishes and desserts. They even had volunteers stationed at the Welcome Center door for food drop-offs. Thank you Booster Club! You do so much for our school and you really made the Lancer staff feel special.
