Miscellaneous Information

Senior Survey: One of the many things you need to do before walking across the stage. The Senior Survey needs to be done. It takes only a few minutes to complete.   

Civics Exam:  New this year is our Civics Exam.  It is a requirement in order for you to obtain your diploma in June. If this isn’t completed before rehearsal, your diploma will be held until it is complete. Please see the study guide for the questions and answers. 

Obligations: All financial obligations must be totally cleared and paid before seniors leave the gym after rehearsal. Diplomas will be withheld if these responsibilities are not fulfilled.

Empire Photography:  Empire will take a picture of each graduate receiving his/her diploma cover. Please make sure you are filling in all the information on your walking cards. If you haven’t filled one out, please see Ms.Bisbee in A22.

Senior Class Breakfast - June 2, 2017  

This dress-up event is held in the school cafeteria at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast with staff/teachers presenting awards to students. This event is another good time that is steeped with tradition. Tickets will be sold in your neighborhood offices prior to the event. 

Final Exams - June 7-8, 2017

Seniors are excused from school when they do not have an exam. 

Graduation Rehearsal - June 8, 2017

Graduation rehearsal is at 12:00 p.m. after a morning testing schedule. Report to the gymnasium with your caps and gowns. All seniors participating in the ceremony must attend this rehearsal.

At 12:00 p.m., Empire will be the taking of the official Class of 2017 Graduation Picture. This is a class picture that ends up being displayed on the Alumni Wall in the commons area.  

Graduation Ceremony - June 9, 2017

The Graduation Ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
