Performing arts and music areas

With the school year in full swing, construction crews have been making great progress on the new fine arts and music addition. Both of these spaces are receiving new buildouts and finishes. Work is wrapping up in the new pool locker rooms and the second-floor gym this week, and will be ready for student use soon.

Construction is still on schedule, and the top priority is to continue operating a safe construction site. Onsite workers have done a great job keeping students and staff safely separated from all construction activity, while also continuing to meet important schedule milestones.

Updates on current work:

  • Installed fluid-applied epoxy flooring in the new pool locker rooms
  • Completed the steel stud walls in the art wing
  • Constructed the interior masonry walls for the fine arts addition
  • Started installing drywall in the new flex space, STEAM lab, and orchestra and choir rooms

DID YOU KNOW? The fluid-applied epoxy flooring that was installed in the new pool locker rooms is a commonly used industrial flooring solution because it is extremely durable, moisture-resistant, and easy to clean and maintain.
