Future Healthcare Leaders Advance to HOSA International Leadership Conference

Thirteen students from La Follette's HOSA participated in the 2022 Wisconsin HOSA - Future Health Professionals State Leadership Conference on April 10 - 12. Many of the students are also students. Students attended engaging breakout sessions, networked with health-industry representatives and healthcare professionals, participated in hands-on emergency preparedness training, and demonstrated both knowledge and applied skills through competitive and recognition events.

The following HOSA members, many who are also in the Health Science Pathway, were recognized for their hard work and/or service in the following events and activities:

  • Academic Testing Center (ATC) - Leadership Exam Top Finalists:

  • HOSA Service Project:
    Certificate of Recognition for raising over $100 towards Be The Match (chapter recognition)

Many of these students have qualified to advance to the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN at the end of June. La Follette High School had additional representation at the state conference with the school's Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and Speech Language Pathologist presenting an interprofessional health panel. Way to shatter our expectations, La Follette HOSA!
